Haresfield Church of England Primary School provides a secure and creative environment where individuals are valued, nurtured and encouraged to achieve all they can. It is supported by effective partnerships with parents and the community and is underpinned by its Christian ethos.

Haresfield School is a small village school with 100 children. We have four classes which are:

Haresfield School was established as a Church of England school in the 19th century. The school was re-built in 2007 and so we have modern, well-designed facilities. The offices remain in the original building keeping a link with our past. We are very fortunate to have the use of a huge playing field - The Merryfield. We play outside in all weathers amid the beautiful countryside and beneath the Haresfield Beacon.

Haresfield Playgroup

We are a happy and friendly community playgroup set in the lovely rural surroundings of Brookthorpe, within easy reach of Gloucester, Stroud and Stonehouse. It offers playgroup and pre-school sessions in a warm and welcoming environment. Sessions are run in Brookthorpe Village Hall by fully qualified and experienced play leaders where children learn from hands on experience.  The aim is to give the children as many new experiences as possible from strawberry picking to apple pressing, dressing up to story time, farm visits and sports sessions.
