Welcome to Haresfield Primary School
Trusting in God, together we live, learn and grow.
Haresfield School was established as a Church of England school in the 19th century. The school was re-built in 2007 and so we have modern, well-designed facilities. The offices remain in the original building keeping a link with our past. We are very fortunate to have the use of a huge playing field – The Merryfield. We play outside in all weathers amid the beautiful countryside and beneath the Haresfield Beacon.
We welcome all families to our school and will be delighted to show you around if you are looking for a school for your child. for more information see: Haresfield School Admissions Policy

Dear all,
I am writing to inform you that Mrs Bacon, our Headteacher, has taken the decision to retire at the end of this academic year.
On behalf of the Governing Body, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for the dedication, leadership, and commitment she has shown over the years. Her contribution to the school community has been significant, and she has played a central role in shaping our school family ethos, the positive learning environment and values displayed by our children we see today.
While we will be sad to see Mrs Bacon leave, we fully support her decision and wish her a long, happy, and well-deserved retirement.
Our priority is to ensure a smooth transition and to maintain continuity for all pupils. In the coming weeks, there will be opportunities for the school community to celebrate and thank Mrs Bacon for her service. Further details will be shared in due course. Thank you, as always, for your continued support of the school. Mrs Williams Chair of Governors
